Through the Courageous Living Transformation Jumpstart, you’ll learn how to break free from old patterns that keep you stuck in fear, self-doubt, and overwhelm. With each week, you’ll uncover the deeper truths of your nervous system and start transforming the way you respond to life. This journey provides you with practical tools and trauma-informed strategies to reconnect with yourself, build emotional resilience, and cultivate a mindset that embraces growth and possibility. The community and support within this jumpstart will help you move past the overwhelm and take inspired action toward creating the life you’ve always desired. By the end, you’ll not only understand what it means to live courageously—you’ll be living it.

Week-to-Week 

This Courageous Living Jumpstart is exactly what you need to get you out of your head and guessing at what to do and into looking at the root cause of why you're so stuck. 

Week1: Welcome to Courageous Living!

Tangible Jumpstart: Clarity, connection, and a nervous-system-safe plan for change. This isn’t about hustling harder—it’s about learning how to regulate your system and shift your energy so change actually feels possible. In this first week, you’ll get clear on what you want and begin building the internal safety to go after it. This is the beginning of moving from stuck and scattered to focused and grounded. You’ll feel the difference immediately—because this time, you’re not doing it from fear..

Week 2: Why Do I Feel Crazy?

Tangible Jumpstart: Awareness of emotional patterns and a new sense of calm. This week, you’ll begin understanding your emotional ups and downs through the lens of the nervous system. What used to feel like “mood swings” or “too much” starts to make sense. You’ll walk away with tools to calm your body and quiet your mind—foundational skills that you’ll build on long after this course ends. It’s not about fixing you—it’s about understanding what’s happening inside you.

Week 3: Why Do I Feel Empty Inside?

Tangible Jumpstart: A spark of reconnection to yourself and your desires. When life becomes about doing for everyone else, it’s easy to lose touch with who you are. This week helps you begin to feel again—to notice your needs, desires, and emotions without guilt. It’s a gentle but powerful step toward rebuilding your relationship with yourself. This isn’t the full transformation—it’s the moment you remember you’re worth it.

Week 4: How Do People See Me and Respond to Me

Tangible Jumpstart: Insight into how you show up and small shifts that change how others respond. If you’ve been feeling invisible or unappreciated, this week gives you your power back. We’ll explore how your nervous system has shaped your energy and how that impacts your relationships. You’ll begin making subtle, nervous-system-aligned shifts that help you show up with more confidence and presence. This is your first taste of being seen in a new way.

Week 5: Breaking Old Patterns

Tangible Jumpstart: A new awareness of your default behaviors and how to interrupt them. This is the week many women feel the biggest “click.” You’ll begin to recognize the patterns that have kept you stuck—emotional eating, overgiving, people-pleasing, procrastination—and learn how to interrupt them. You won’t break every pattern in 8 weeks, but you’ll finally understand how to start. That’s the breakthrough.

Week 6: Making Space for Something New

Tangible Jumpstart: Permission to let go of what drains you—and practice doing it. You’re not meant to carry it all. This week gives you the nervous system tools to start releasing what you’ve been holding onto out of guilt, fear, or habit. You’ll learn how to make space—not just in your schedule, but in your mind, your relationships, and your energy. It’s a small beginning that opens big doors.

Week 7: Living In Abundance and Freedom

Tangible Jumpstart: A felt sense of what’s possible—and a glimpse of who you’re becoming. Abundance isn’t a goal—it’s a way of being. This week introduces you to the version of yourself who doesn’t shrink, sabotage, or second-guess. You’ll start to feel what it’s like to trust yourself, receive support, and move forward without apology. This is just the beginning—but it’s the beginning of something powerful.

Week 8: Reflect, Celebrate and Step Forward

Tangible Jumpstart: Integration, confidence, and aligned momentum forward. You’ve done the hard part—you showed up, faced the patterns, and rewired the way you respond to life. This week is about owning the shift that’s already taken place. You’ve created safety in your system, clarity in your mind, and trust in your body. Now, you get to move forward in aligned action—and when alignment meets courage, that’s when the magic starts to happen. This isn’t the beginning. This is the moment where real life begins to meet the real you.

Janice Holland is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Certified Trauma Model Therapist, and the creator of The Courageous Living Framework. 

With over 15 years of experience helping women untangle from trauma, perfectionism, and people-pleasing, Janice blends deep clinical expertise with practical, soul-centered strategies that create real change. She has trained therapists and coaches around the world and supported hundreds of women in reclaiming their voice, their energy, and their lives. 

Her work is rooted in the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about remembering who you really are. 


 Janice is also the host of The Trauma Teacher Podcast, where she brings real, relatable conversations to healing professionals and women ready to step into their power. Courageous Living is her passion project—a powerful starting point for women who are done surviving and ready to live boldly, fully, and on their own terms.
